Welcome & Namaste — I’m Amy M. Jarvis
I’m a certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), E-RYT500, Mindfulness Teacher, and lifelong learner dedicated to helping others feel grounded, resilient, and connected. My work integrates the science of yoga therapy and mindfulness with the timeless wisdom of the Yoga Sutras—translated into meaningful, everyday tools for wellness.
Before becoming a yoga therapist, I spent years as a project manager in the construction industry. While I didn’t know it at the time, those high-pressure environments taught me resilience, clarity, and adaptability—all of which now deeply inform how I teach, hold space, and support others. I went from managing blueprints to helping people reframe their inner architecture.
My background also includes a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from LSU, and my creative passions—like ice skating, hiking, crafting, and embroidery—infuse my work with a playful, grounded energy that makes healing feel human.

This space is designed to support those on a journey toward greater health, clarity, and inner strength. Whether you're a curious beginner, a lifelong seeker, or a yoga teacher continuing your studies, you'll find tools, teachings, and support rooted in both ancient wisdom and modern science.
You’ll find topics like:
🌿 Therapeutic yoga and movement practices for stress, aging, injury recovery, and chronic conditions
🌀 Mindfulness & meditation techniques informed by neuroscience and lived experience
📜 Yoga philosophy and continued education for teachers and dedicated students wanting to deepen their understanding of the ancient teachings and their application to modern life
I also offer insights and reflections on the 8 Limbs of Yoga, guided practices, and seasonal programs designed to help you reconnect with your body, breath, and inner compass.
My deepest desire
To help you feel more you.
To teach what I’ve learned so you can live with more ease, energy, and purpose.
To guide yoga teachers and students in continuing their growth through deeper study and self-discovery.
And to offer therapeutic movement and mindfulness practices that enliven life—on and off the mat.
